Indie Night Live
Event Description
Indie Night is a themed live music event celebrating indie and alternative music through a mix of live bands, curated DJs, and a community-driven atmosphere inspired by the indie scene. Since launching in 2021, Indie Night has hosted 50+ events across the country, selling out venues and bringing together local artists with brand-new audiences.
Now returning to Charleston for the third time, Indie Night is leveling up to The Music Farm for its biggest Charleston show yet featuring Daddy’s Beemer, Wilmot, Rohna, and Mina Roth, plus indie classics spinning all night long.
Daddy’s Beemer Bio
Charleston-based band Daddy’s Beemer (comprising lead vocalist/guitarist Brady Sklar, guitarist Bob Magee, bassist Wesley Heaton, and drummer Payton Kutyla) formed in 2016 at Clemson University, where they soon established their brand of dreamy, buoyant indie rock. Influences from across the pond like Two Door Cinema Club, The Kooks and The Cure mingled with the likes of REM and even Frank Ocean to form a left-field melting pot across their first EPs, Daddy’s Beemer (2017) and Pucker (2018). Meanwhile, they forged their identity on the road, playing over 200 shows since their inception and heading as far afield as New York and SXSW, all while building a rock-solid base in their home state of South Carolina.
Their debut full-length, 2020’s Denmark, saw the band expand their recording capacity and flex their production muscles. After a mid-Covid release and snowball of live shows, the band began crafting a follow-up. 2023’s Tangles finds Daddy’s Beemer in peak form with a nearly-live tracked 10 song exploration of love & life on the road. Their newest lineup since releasing the album guarantees the same quality of live experience since 2016: energetic, fun, spontaneous, and emotionally filling.
Mina Roth Bio
Rohna Bio
With an unmistakable sound and an electrifying stage presence, Rohna has established themselves as one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Florida’s indie rock scene. Formed in 2019, the five-piece consists of Andres Hernandez (bass and vocals), Austin Burdi (guitar), John Bruno (guitar, keys, and vocals), Luca Canalungo (drums and vocals), and Nick Rovello (guitar and vocals). Together, they deliver a sunburnt indie rock sound that blends influences from alternative, psychedelic, punk, and emo rock, bringing raw energy and immersive performances to stages across the country.
Along the way, Rohna has opened for nationally and internationally recognized acts including The Black Keys, Last Dinosaurs, Palace, flipturn, Ax & the Hatchetmen, The Moss, Good Neighbours, Magic City Hippies, and more. Their rise has also carried them onto major festival lineups such as Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, Playground Festival, Gasparilla Music Festival, and 97X Next Big Thing, helping solidify their reputation as a standout live act.
Following the release of their second album, Don’t Come Down, in 2025, Rohna toured extensively throughout the United States, selling out multiple club shows and continuing to grow a dedicated fan base far beyond their home state. That community connects deeply with the band’s emotional lyricism, layered instrumentation, and undeniable onstage chemistry.
With more tours, new music, and exciting collaborations planned for 2026, Rohna shows no signs of slowing down. Whether on record or on stage, the band is not just making music. They are creating moments that last.
