Donavon Frankenreiter
Donavon Frankenreiter Bio
For nearly two decades Donavon Frankenreiter has been traveling the globe, first as a professional surfer and now as a musician. Born in Southern California, Donavon spent most of his youth chasing waves, turning pro at the age of 16.
These days instead of surf competitions, it’s concert halls that bring Frankenreiter to town, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery.
This year, Frankenreiter released his first studio in 9 years on September 20, 2024. The album, entitled Get Outta Your Mind, marks the 20 year anniversary of his self-titled debut album.
Iris and The Shade Bio
Iris And The Shade, are an indie folk-rock duo from California whose meeting began with a trip (Chase aka “The Shade” tripped Iris with his foot at a local bar to meet her) and that began a love story full of adventure, grit, dogs, and music. In 2025 they embarked on their first headlining tour, and are now keeping the momentum by opening for pro-surfer turned world touring musician, Donavon Frankenreiter, on his East Coast Tour in August 2026.
In 2025, they released “BIG HEART” which featured Donavon Frankenreiter on vocals and guitar and was mixed and mastered by Robert Carranza, who engineered Jack Johnson’s “In Between Dreams” record. Their most recent single, “Wildflowers”, was produced by Matt Costa, and landed onto Spotify’s Editorial playlists: “Fresh Finds” and “Fresh Finds Folk”.
Their newest single “One By One” featuring G. Love on vocals and harmonica, and Matt Costa will release July 31st and be played for the first time ever night 1 of their East Coast run at the legendary Stone Pony in New Jersey. At each show they donate a portion of merch sales to supporting shelter dogs in need, contributing to their greater mission of ending the overcrowding crisis in animal shelters.
